Not sure if Fitbit support even checks this forum but any data sync to Strava is still not working for a lot of people.
I have opened so many tickets and its always the same automatic reply - remove and readd connections which we all know does not work.
time to dump this device and get a garmin watch.

I'm sure @LucioFitbit will be able to solve this issue.

all that support does is keep sending the same steps on how to disconnect and reconnect which fixes nothing.
so many people on here have the same issue and the same response. really sad they cant figure it out for 2 months or more.
im ready to sell my watch and get a garmin watch.

Please help. I have literally tried everything and I have phoned Fitbit.
My Versa 3 won’t transfer my data to Strava (when it used to). I am using an iPhone 14 pro.
My versa 3 is connected to my phone and Bluetooth etc is on. GPS is on, location set to Always and I am not syncing it in more than 1 place. The GPS also states connected and shows in fitbit. I have connect the apps via the appropriate channels and both fitbit and Strava show I have given all permissions for each app to share data.
To attempt to rectify my data not automatically going over to Strava i have tried the following multiple times:
- revoked access
- logged in and out on apps
- reconnected Bluetooth after clicking “share systems notifications” and re adding the device
- completed a master reset on fitbit phone
- shut the Fitbit off and restarted it etc
- rechecked all gps settings/ permissions etc
I am considering leaving fitbit and getting another device as I need to use Strava alongside my versa 3 tracker.
Has anyone got any advice?
Thanks in advance.
Kelly

Hi @ilaudor, @Dopovo, it is good to see you guys around! It is the issue already solved?
Keep in mind that only GPS data recorded with a Fitbit device is synced to the Strava app.
If the issue persists please try the following steps How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?, How do I manage apps connected to my Fitbit account?

I’ve been unable to sync GPS data with Strava for several months now, after having no problems for several years. I’ve tried everything including what you suggest here. Customer services say you are aware of the problem but what is being done and why is the fix taking so long?

This is not the best answer. This issue is not fixed this is not working for so many months and no one at FitBit has any reply for me other then to try and Resync and it still doesn’t work.

You have not answered nor solved this problem why is it marked Answered????
Many people have this problem including myself, but all the moderator replies are terrible, do you not think people can't google this for themselves?
The best answer here is not working!
Fitbit is not interested in fixing this problem as they are now part of google and will no doubt replace fitbit devices with google ones before long.
I have thus far worked out that the Fitbit servers are not pushing their data to the Strava servers, unfortunately that is a problem that only fitbit can solve and they are not interested
In short its time to buy a Garmin or Apple watch both of which work fine

Yeah this has gone on too long and clearly they have zero interest in fixing this. The worst customer service ever
Will probably be buying a Garmin watch since i already use a Garmin for my bike rides.

+1, Best Answer lol
My last working sync was 3/28/23. Went out for a SUP to try out the new exercise mode on my new Sense 2 that I waited 2 years for (and a bike ride after that) and syncing fails. My Sense 1&2 synced everything before this without issue.
Strava says Fitbit pushes data so there is nothing they can do.
☹️

I am having exactly the same issue @LizzyFitbit - have email Fitbit support, but they haven't offered a good response.
I have updated the firmware on the watch and also updated the fitbit app. I have done a factory reset of the watch and re-synced fitbit with Strava and its still not working.
I have followed all of the steps you mentioned to Revoke Access to disconnect it from your Fitbit account and then reconnected.
Nothing.
I'm done with Fitbit! Will be changing to Garmin.

Same here, all was working fine until January then nothing. I've relinked, reinstalled, changed phones, still nothing. Export files are empty and looks like if I want the data I have to hack it out from developer mode. Something is broken. 😞
I switched from Garmin after 5 years due to constant failed or late GPS links in the forest where I live. Fitbit seemed much better so was happy until strava linked stopped. Strava has many benefits, and Fitbit should step up and fix this.

Why do you just post the instructions that anyone can google as an answer? this is just lazy
Fitbit's servers have been failing to sync for months now with absolutely no technical help. Many many people are having the exact same issue.
sorry I am giving you a minus vote👎
This is an ongoing problem of which google/fitbit are well aware of and most are thinking its time to go Garmin or Apple if you want to intergrate with strava

@Staners it's probably best to look somewhere else if Strava integration is of a major significance. Even when it works (and it does work for me, Fitbit synchronizes with Strava) it's extremely poor due to its limitations. No non-GPS activities can sync so runs on treadmill, indoor cycling, swimming won't sync. Moreover, many GPS activies won't sync either and it's required to get TCX file and upload it manually into Strava. Other platforms I have been using didn't show such limitations. My swim from this morning synced from Garmin to Strava with no issues. Can't do that with Fitbit. If I track mileage and some of my runs are on treadmill then, as Fitbit user, I'm out of luck. If Strava is important, Fitbit is no way to go (unless limited capability - when it works, is satisfying for a user). On top of that, the problem with basic syncing that some users experience very unlikey will get fixed 🤷
