My Fitbit Charge 3 used to sync workouts with Strava, I had been using Fitbit premium but Strava free-version. I recently upgraded Strava in order to take advantage of their additional workout analysis and get heart-rate data.
Unfortunately, I cannot get heart rate data from Fitbit to Strava, even after performing the various suggested resets (disallowing Strava<->Fitbit, re-enabling on both sides). In fact, I'm not even getting ANY Fitbit workouts to sync to Strava any more. I reached out to Strava and they assured me this would be on the Fitbit side.
I'm using an Apple iPhone X, iOS 13.5, and running the Fitbit app version 3.22 (962) with a Charge 3, and Strava app version v152.0.0 (r22113)

I figured out the problem with help from FitBit and Strava.
To track your run, turn FitBit app ON (and selected on your phone), and leave Strava OFF (keep the app closed and not running in the background). Make sure GPS is on. Start your run using your fitbit watch, run with your phone (I strap mine to my waist), and when you’re done, end the run on your fitbit. Wake up your phone. Sync the fitbit app to your fitbit to get the fitbit data for heartbeat. Your will shortly see a notification from Strava saying your run was recorded (FitBit sends the run to Strava after processing). You should then be able to view your run in Strava with BOTH the GPS-based location path AND your heartbeat rate as recorded by the fitbit.

It's great to see you around, @GlennStrycker.
Thanks for the information provided. I would like to know if you keep having problems connecting Fitbit with Strava? If so, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provided there.
Let me know the outcome.

I am experiencing the same issue. My Fitbit is linked to Strava. I have the free version of Fitbit and just signed up for the paid version of Strava. I've taken steps to unlink and relink my accounts together as per the troubleshooting guide on both Strava and Fitbit. My heart rate data from my activities will not sync to Strava. I've already contacted Strava and they have no solution other than trying to relink accounts which I have already done. I am using a Hauwei P20 with Android and as of yesterday I have the paid version of Strava. I am using the Charge 3 Fitbit and Strava Version 181.12
