Fitbit <-> Google fit

I don't have my Fitbit yet. So can't test this out.

I've found the FitToFit app to sync data from fitbit -> google fit.

Do I need to do anything to avoid duplicate steps count etc from my phone? Like disable tracking in my phone, or does google fit figure this out by it's own?

FitToFit has 2 options:

- completely overwrite the Google Fit steps measured with your phone (hence Fitbit becomes dominant)

- use a smart logging (the logic will determine when to use smartphone steps and when Fitbit steps)

That's great, guess the smart logging will be running then.

Thank you!
