Does anyone know if it’s possible to disconnect my google account from my Fitbit? I don’t like that I have to wait for my friends to make the switch in order to see how they’re doing~ pls help !

Hi @wheresbelen and @Dawnmaud  from posts on the forum, there is NO way to revert back to your Fitbit account once you've switched over to Google.

Since you are no longer logged in with your old ID, esentialy a new Fitbit account, you may have to re-request the friendships.

Hahaha 🤣 that's pure nonsense unless you can explain how to even see the Fitbit friends still on the Fitbit system from the google system.

The relationship as "friends" is displayed but no communication is possible including friend request from what I see.

@wheresbelen @Rich_Laue @Odyssey13 @Dawnmaud  We have lost all of our friends for nothing.  There is nothing that I found from the Google working "behind the scenes" to justify the move.  All was loss.

I, too, hate that Fitbit will not allow us to disconnect from Google.  They did NOT make it obvious that in connecting the two, you would no longer be able to view your friends ' data.

It all seems like a sneaky trick to move everyone to Google, so they can phase out Fitbit and try to force us to buy a Google watch instead.  With tactics like this, when they phase out Fitbit, I will find a other company.  I am disappointed on you Google, very disappointed.
