I already have weightwatchers connected. Is only one app or program allowed? Why can't I connect to AARP? I don't want to revoke access to weightwatchers.

Hi @hodgy03038 - You can follow this link to connect to AARP Rewards for Good. It has nothing to do with WW. In fact, I am connected to both.

Thank you but I see no way in that link to connect - no instructions.

Hmmmm ... when I follow the link, I can scroll down to see a red button that reads, “Get Started with AARP Rewards.” Tapping that takes me step by step thru the process. Do you have an AARP user name and password? You’ll need that. If this does not help, try googling AARP, Fitbit. You might get more info that way.

I am not asking how to eenroll in AARP rewards. I am already a member. I want to know how to connect the FITBIT into rewards so I get credit for my walking.

The connection will need to be done from AARP's end. They are the author and maintainer of the link.
You are best to ask AARP this question.

All right, @hodgy03038 . Thanks for clarifying. Since it is AARP’s program, you will need to contact them to ask how. I googled AARP Rewards for Good - Customer Service and was directed to this page. There is a phone number at the bottom if the search feature does not help. It’s been quite a while since I connected Fitbit to AARP so I’m afraid I don’t remember the exact steps.

All of the research I have done says you do it through the fitbit app and manage 3rd party applications. If anyone has done this I would appreciate the help. Thanks to all responders.

Carol B you are awesome but the help pages and nothing on fitbit or aarp helps. I guess nobody really connects the fitbit to aarp.

I'm not sure how it works with AARP but in general you connect Fitbit to the third party site through the third party.
Fitbit has a page with links to common third party sites and directs the user to their site.
Fitbit provides the tools needed to link up and unless the third party wants something special they do not even have to inform Fitbit that they have linked up.
In reality Fitbit does not know of every site that has linked up. Like my Google sheet. As for Fitbit users who donate their time to help out in the community, we know even less about who links up.
From what i can tell this link up is done through your rewards account at https://www.aarp.org/rewards/
