How to Link Fitbit & Strava

Has anyone else linked their Fitbit to Strava, i want to track my swim distance & in a team challenge

Yes @CatHeRinEHarrI many have link their Fitbit accounts with Strava. However only GPS recorded Walks, Runs, and Bike rides will be sent to Strava.

Yea i only joined Strava yesterday &  thought i'd linked it yesterday i did a Zumba class followed by a 30 min swim all tracked on my fitbit Versa2 but but nothing pulled accross to Strava...

Yes @CatHeRinEHarrI your sync a class was not a Run, Walk, or Bike ride, and without being recorded with GPS, it will not be sent to Strava.

i've enabled the integration on both sides. when i complete a workout in fitbit, it does not sync with strava. after doing more research, it seems the only 'workout's that count are runs (i.e. i cannot use any other workout mode on my fitbit). does anyone know of a hacky way to import workouts from fitbit into strava? i dont ever use the Run feature of fitbit. its always Workout mode.

This is the problem I have, I’m wanting to sync my circuits/ aerobic work outs & my swims! to Strava

As mentioned above, bike, walks, and runs, recorded with GPS will sync to Strava. 

Since the only way to export a gps event is when GPS is recorded, no there is not a workaround.

Your Fitbit activities will appear on Strava, and runs and rides tracked with Strava will contribute to your all-day Fitbit stats. If you have a Fitbit watch, use the Strava app on your watch to see your last 10 run or bike exercises. If you want to export your GPS data from your Fitbit account to Strava, see How do I export my Fitbit account data?

Note the following types of activities won't sync to Strava:

• Non-GPS activities
• Previous activities that weren’t tracked by Strava.
• Duplicate activities—that is, if you already recorded an activity with Strava, a Fitbit activity that occurs at the same time won't sync.
