MFP and Fitbit discrepancies

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have MFP and Fitbit synced with the same goals set but yet my remaining calories always vary from one another. MFP always has hundreds more allowance than my Fitbit even though the Fitbit tracks all my exercises. How am I supposed to know what my remaining calorie are? Which one should I follow?

Hi there @Stacey55, its nice to have you here in the Fitbit Community. I noticed @Rich_Laue has provided you a great recommendation and I wonder how it goes? Is the issue still persisting with your calories?

I'm just giving follow up to make sure everything is working fine. If you need more help just keep me posted.

I still can't get them to match up despite settings and goals.

You don't give any details, is your daily deficit the same?

Could it be chalked up to thae fact that both Fitbit and MFP use their own proprietary fomulas?

Despite my goals and settings set the same, my caloric allowance on MFP is always higher than the Fitbit. My workouts are calculated on the Fitbit and synced and my diet is only entered into MFP.
