MFP and Fitbit is duplicating calorie burn

I just want to reiterate how great a tool the integration of Fitbit and MyFitnessPal is.  Here it is Saturday morning and I’ve yet to put on my Fitbit Surge .  I recorded 205 steps from 12:10AM before I went to bed.  As of right now, Saturday afternoon at 12:25PM Fitbit says I have already burned 2,577 calories, and MFP says I have burned 1138 in my Fitbit calorie adjustment.  All without any steps or any exercise.  /sarcasm

I only enter calories intake via MFP, and let my Surge record all exercise activity.  I also have MMF connected but never manual enter any data as I think it is supposed to integrate with both Fitbit and MFP.

MFP and Fitbit is duplicating calorie burn. I’ve disconnected and reconnected half a dozen times.

This is the 3rd or 4th time in the last two months I’ve experienced this and I’ve posted in the help section, sent emails to both parties and have received nada.

I’m about done with this.

I am having the same issues today. I took off my Charge HR and put it in the locker at the gym while I swap laps for 40 min. at the gym pool. When I got back to my locker and checked my stats, I burned something like 800 cals while my fitbit was in the locker. I also sync with MFP, entering my food intake at MFP and my activities at Fitbit. Somethings def. up! I haven't noticed any issues until today. I've had issues with the trackers/MFP syncronization in the past, but nothing quite like this.
