If using the Under Armour app “Map My Run” to track running and wearing a Fitbit at the same time will My Fitness Pal subtract out the Fitbit steps or credit you twice the caloric burn?

Hi there @BobLoblaw23, awesome to see new members of the Fitbit Community! My apologies for the late response.

Reviewing your post, MyFitnessPal won't credit you twice for your calories. Note that Fitbit will send your steps but in terms of calories, it will give you a calorie adjustment in MyFitnessPal. For more details please refer to this post: My Fitness Pal calorie adjustment.

Just becareful not to connect all your apps together. As this can create a loop of information. Meaning that the exercise of one app can return if is connected to other third party integration. To give you a basic example: Fitbit > MapMyRun > MyFitnessPal > Back to Fitbit if MFP is connected, creating a duplicate entry. Of course this will depends on which data will share each account, to learn more about each app, review this post: Third Party Apps - Informational Post.

I know this topic can be confusing, so if you have other questions let me know.

I am looking for more clarification on this same setup. I wear my Fitbit as my main daily tracker and it is currently synced to MyFitnessPal so I receive the calorie adjustment for Fitbit activity and food logs show in Fitbit. I also have Fitbit connected to MapMyRun. I had mapmyrun connected to MyFitnessPal but noticed the duplicate adjustment when I would start a run on mapmyrun so disconnected it from MyFitnessPal. Is there anyway to have all three connected without messing up the tracking?
