MyFitness Pal Exercise Sync

Hello everyone!

As many people probably do as well, I synced my Fitbit Charge 2 to MyFitnessPal and I have it as the step counter (versus the iPhone itself). I'm wondering what I should do regarding exercise. Steps are one thing (which the calories burned from steps seem abnormally high already), but exercise is another. On the MyFitnessPal app, it doesn't distinguish between types of exercise (such as weight lifting and biking) with the calorie adjustment. Is this just how the system works or is this an issue anyone is running into. I'm also not sure if the exercise just rolls into the "steps" and those calories burned from steps or if I manually have to add the exercise and risk over inputting exercise.

Thanks! 🙂

I'm not able to help much but here is what is supposed to sync between your accounts. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Third-Party-Apps-Informational-Post/m-p/144...
