Searched and searched but couldn't find the most recent discussion for this issue, but myfitness pal has not synced with my Ionic since April 28, 2019. There was a notice that MyFitness Pal was aware and had worked out the issues but it still hasn't been fixed. And YES, I've been in contact with them...just MORE excuses.
What if anything is Fitbit doing about this? Each day my displeasure with this half working, bug ridden device and software grows. I spend more time trying to get it or keep it connected, or syncing with "supported" apps than I do getting use out of it. The only thing it seems to do decently is track steps. Heck it won't even count stairs climbed unless I swing or thrash about my arm. I could go back to my outdated Fitbit One if all I wanted was a step counter.

Yup, been there done that...gone through all of the troubleshooting steps with the folks at MyFitness Pal. We've even had the token conversation and they even removed the token from my account and re-added it (after I did it both on the website and the app on my handheld device per their instructions). Still no sync, and again, this has been going on since April 28, which was the LAST time my data from the scale synced with the Fitbit device. All other syncing works.

I am having the same problem. I have a Fitbit Versa and I use a Nokia healthmate scale. The Nokia app syncs to MFP which then syncs the weight with Fitbit. All worked well until my last sync on 4/15/19. I have done searches and thought the issue was resolved. I have revoked access multiple times using my phone and my computer. Deleted and re-downloaded the apps. I am still not syncing weights. Everything else works fine. The weight is getting from Nokia to MFP. It just isn’t going from MFP to the Fitbit app. I’m So frustrated!!!

Just wanted to chime in and say I'm having the same issue. I have done the standard troubleshooting procedure multiple times. Fitbit only sends my steps to MFP and not my workouts. It's beyond frustrating. I tend to think its an issue on Fitbit's side because the syncing worked perfectly before the last firmware update.
I've been on the neverending merry go round with Fitbit support, and they keep trying to push the issue off on MFP or telling me to "watch the device for a few days" I wasn't aware Charge 3s are self-healing. At this point, I'm seriously considering moving on to another company.
