Hello @9er, nice to have you here in the Fitbit Community, welcome aboard!

If you are referring specifically to water logging, this information won't be shared with Fitbit. For more details on what information syncs MFP, review this post: Third Party Apps - Informational Post.

Now with food, when you have linked your Fitbit account to MFP, all the food you manually log in Myfitnesspal will be shown as a summary (i.e: Breakfast Summary) with a subtotal of calories that will going to add to your total numbers.

So if you are not able to see this information, make sure your accounts are properly connected by going to your Application settings using your web Dashboard. If you are not able to see MFP connected, go to http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps, look for the Fitbit app and connect your accounts:

Connect your tracker to MFP:

Also make sure you have select the Fitbit tracker as a device from where your steps are coming from to make sure your steps are syncing between both accounts. This can be done through the mobile app too:

If you are on iOS press more / if you are on Android tap on the horizontal lines in the upper left corner > scroll down through the menu and select Steps > Here select Fitbit tracker.

If you are doing this from the web browser, in the same page where you connect your accounts, select the tile "Steps" ans select Fitbit tracker.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Roberto-

I followed the directions just as you wrote them but when I try to link MFP with my Fitbit it says there is already an MFP account linked. I revoked access an tried again and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Hi there @penguin63 and @AmieL, thank you for joining us on this thread. My apologies for the late response, so I' would like to ask first how it goes so far? Is the issue still persisting?

@penguin63@AmieL in both of your cases, I'm wondering if you have revoked the access before to try the steps I suggested before? I Did not included this part in my first reply since this was with the intention to instruct an initial setup. Now if you already connected your accounts it is require to revoke the access first. So for more details, the following post will give you some extra steps in case you are experiencing the same issue: Fitbit and MFP not syncing!

See you later and let me know any other question you may have.
