Best AnswerApologies if this has been covered. Read quite a lot of the posts, but didn't see it specifically. I've just reinvested in a Fitbit (Charge 3) and am trying out Noom. The number of synched steps has worked apart from two occasions.
I'm wondering whether the Noom syncing for that day fails when there is any form of user change or entry on the Fitbit/Fitbit app side. Just a theory.
Best AnswerWeird, mine seems to mostly synch on iOS. Only those couple of times where I manually added exercise were issues.
Best AnswerThis is how you connect your noom to fitbit
Please note that after a reinstall, our servers normally restore your data. However, there is a rare chance you could lose some. Unfortunately, this is non-avoidable as a last resort in an attempt to resolve your issue, but please know we cannot restore any missing data and deeply apologize if this occurs.
First, please follow the steps below to disconnect all apps from Noom:
1. Go to Noom > Settings > Apps & Devices > Connect Additional Devices and tap Disconnect on any apps that are connected there
2. Go to Noom > Settings > Apps & Devices > Choose Steps Data Source and select Noom Pedometer
Next, disconnect Noom from the Apple Health app (if you're connected to it) by going to the Health app on your iPhone > Sources > Noom > Turn All Categories for WRITE and READ to Off
Reinstall Noom, by doing the following:
Restart your device and then reopen Noom once it's back on the Home screen.
Finally, reconnect your fitness tracker:
1. Go to Settings > Apps & Devices > Connect Additional Devices and tap Connect beside only your fitness tracker
2. Log into your account when prompted and select all the checkboxes to enable all permissions if it asks
3. Tap Allow.
4. Finally, go to Settings > Apps & Devices > Choose Steps Data Source and select your fitness tracker
Please know that once the fitness tracker is linked to Noom, the steps do not sync in real time. It can take up to several hours for the steps to show in Noom.
Best AnswerExtending on my last comment, my Noom synch to Fitbit (Charge3 ) works in terms of steps taken. However, if you manually enter anything into the Fitbit app in terms of exercise, it wipes out the steps in Noom back to a previous reading. Mine went from 9,888 back to 1,224 steps after I entered a session I did on the elliptical runner. I am now at 11,555 steps on Fitbit, but Noom is stuck at the 1,224 reading I entered after exercising this morning and based on previous experience, that won't change now.
The synching works again the next day without me having to do anything and is fine if you don't enter any exercise into the Fitbit app.

My Noom app always shows 0 when I choose Fitbit as the source of steps.
Which is very frustrating since I do many more steps than the Noom pedometer measures !! I have to be holding my phone 24/7 to record all my steps.

Best AnswerThat explains what happened to mine. My fitbit didn't pickup my exercise so i manually added it but then Noom didn't sync with the right steps. Wonder if they'll fix the glitch in the system.
Best AnswerThis one finally fixed it after a lot of other tries. One other thing I did is after these directions is I went into Fitbit to refresh. When I came back to Noom it was finally there.
Best AnswerFirst: Make sure your Fitbit is connected to bluetooth (mine says alta hr)
Second: Make sure the Fitbit is connected to the Noom app
Third: In the home menu of Noom, Step #7, click on that, and choose manual, then click done.
My steps FINALLY appeared.
If you get stuck, email me and I will give you a [more] detailed step by step.
Noom coach was not on point, and the directions in other threads here did not work, nor did the directions I found on the internet. I guess being a tad tired works for me.
Best AnswerI’ve used Noom with my Fitbit successfully for about 8 months. It just started not working in last month. I think Fitbit just stopped supporting the noom app perhaps. Bummer to me as I grew to like the noom app and would prefer not to switch
