My ionic will not let me link to Strava; I tried to set it up and will not let me authorize it. I have had the watch since they come out so I know what I’m doing, it’s acting crazy!! This just happened two days ago. Anyone else having issues???

until Stava comes to Fitbit about thew sync issue, it is outside of what fitbit can help with.

Do you you have any basis for this assertion?
Because it appears that FitBit already acknowledged the issue....
In my short experience with Fitbit, syncing and third party integration is the worst of any I have experienced so far (Samsung, Google, Apple). My Samsung Health account is still syncing flawlessly with MyFitnessPall and Strava without me having to fiddle with it for at least a year. With FitBit, not only can I NOT export historical heart rate and sleep data to any other major platform (or import historical heart rate data), but it has had issues syncing with FitBit Pay, MyFitnessPall, and now Strava. It also loses GPS connection with my Pixel 3 all too frequently.
Yeah, it must be everyone else's fault....
Having said that, FitBit does have the best user interface in this space. But they have to hire someone who understands syncing protocols better.

Hello @Bleeh, @charlottemo92, @Rich_Laue, and @Trichrun.
Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your experiences on the situation.
In this case I'd like to ask if the situation has continued or if the two have synced correctly now.
I look forward to your replies.

I have the same problem to, I've just received the watch. This problem really needs to be addressed by fitbit, surely advertising it as a watch that tracks strava is misleading when the app won't connect on the watch!

@Maldives20-14 are you sure that the Strava App on your Ionic is logged into your Strava Account? This has absolutely nothing related to the subject of this thread and the liking of your Strava Account with your Fitbit Account.
Open the Fitbit app, go to the Ionic settongs, tap Apps, find Strava, tap setting and log into your Strava Account.
Sorry @Pleasehelpme57 but without knowing which of the 2 unrelated issues

When you run, what links to your watch, the only thing that can link to your watch is the Fitbit app.
You say that something links to the watch, but not the Fitbit. What is this Fitbit your asking about?
I thought the issue is with the Strava app on the watch?
