Not receiving Blink notifications

Can someone tell me why my Versa 2 will not pick up my Blink notifications?  The app shows up in my list of notifications, I have the box checked, and have synced my watch--still will not receive the notifications.  Have also restarted my Versa--still no notifications.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is it a glitch?  Am I missing a step?  I get all my other notifications with no problem.  This is frustrating because I'm missing my Blink motion sensor alerts because I'm not always right by my phone...

Hi, there was an update in early April that affected this notification. I had the Charge 4 in March 2021 and received all notifications but as soon as I received the update in early April, the motion notifications from my Blink app stopped. I returned the Charge 4 and bought the Sense and still not working. It's weird that I still receive camera temperature and disarm and arm notifications to my Sense but no motion notifications. I am in the middle of talking with Fitbit Support and I tried everything to fix it but nothing has worked. I 100% believe that the update in early April messed this up. Hoping that support figures this out asap.

Was hoping the Fitbit would show the snapshot from my Blinks XT mirrorless camera or Google nest doorbell. You do receive the notification but not the snapshot as my fossil or Samsung galaxy watch as they both do. Oh well back it goes. Was hoping to like this now that Google scooped it up but still way behind my other watches.

Same here, very frustrating since it was working then all of a sudden quit, apparently because of the update...over a month and still no update to fix the update?

Has there been a resolution to this problem? I just got a Versa 3 and none of the Blink notifications are showing.

Thank you!

Not to my knowledge 😞
I've had my Versa 3 for months and still get no Blink notifications.  I know there has been a FitBit update, and was hoping that would fix it....but no......

Has anyone found a fix for this issue or heard if it is being addressed?

I upgraded from versa 2 to sense at end of July and upon syncing first time got the 5.38 update and Blink is not notifying the Sense (no motion alerts, all other alerts work) even though everything has been set and reset multiple times.

Alerts arrive in phone no problem but not to sense. Most other app's notifications are going to sense.

Anyone hear of an update? TIA

Including this here because this page was the top search engine hit, regarding Blink not pushing notifications to Fitbit smartwatches.

This workaround using the Alexa app routines immediately fixed the issue for me, with no reinstalls or configuration resets:

1. Make sure your Blink app/account/camera is connected to your Alexa app/Amazon account already.

2. Open the Alexa app, press 'More' tab at bottom right, press 'Routines'

3. Press the (+) icon at the top right, enter a routine name like 'Motion notifications'

4. Press the 'When this happens    (+)' section > press 'Smart Home' > press 'Camera' > press 'Detected' > press 'Next' at top right

5. Press the 'Add action    (+)' section > scroll to and press 'Messaging' > press 'Notification' > enter 'Motion detected (CameraNameHere)'

6. Press 'Next' at top right to confirm, then press 'Save' at top right to enable the routine.

7. Wave your hand in front of your Blink camera, and your Fitbit smartwatch now receives the custom Alexa notification message!

This function is handled by your phone/ notification center and the answer will be specific to android or iOS and the fitbit app.
