Not syncing to strava

I;ve had nothing but problems with my fitbit since I bought it 2 months ago.. The latest problem which happened tonight is that it will not sync to strava..

The run is on my app and on the fitbit website but not on the strava website..

I've even tried manually exporting the activity but that doesn't work either "

We were unable to export this activity. Please try again later."..

Coming from a Garmin tracker previously I find fitbit amateurish by compassion.. As stated in 2 months of owning my blaze it has be nothing but problem after problem.. I wanted this to work as I like the watch and the app but really its nothing more that a pedometer  😕

Hi,

I'm having the same issue, but I also can't export the run manually to upload it to strava.  Guessing Fitbit has an issue currently.

Seems to be a regular occurrence with Fitbit..

They have good looking trackers and apps.. just a pity they never work

To be fair, this is the first real problem I've had with syncing in 11
months

I'm having the same problem.  First time this has happened since I got my Surge back in October.  I run and upload to Strava almost everyday and sometimes twice a day.

I am having the same problem BUT it just started today. I've owned my FB Blaze now for 9 months and have never had an issue uploading. Yesterday's run uploaded. Just not today's. I get the same error msg too when trying to export.

I too have the same error message.  Interestingly, in my Fitbit app, the route is shown, but there is no map..it is just a black background.

I tried a walk on my Blaze after my run wouldn't upload, and it uploaded to Strava just fine...but my run is still hanging somewhere.  Seems to be a corrupt data file.

This is the first time I've had this particular problem but I've been plagued with other problems when using my fitbit.. Between loosing GPS connection mid run or not getting one at all or the watch just randomly stopping an activity half way through.

Think its fair to say that the fitbit is not a good choice for someone who takes their fitness seriously.. its gears towards couch potato who want to count their steps to McDonalds and back..

I was wanting it to work, I liked the watch and fitbit app but if it doesn't work there isn't much point in keeping it. Interestingly there is no response from fitbit about the issue too.

I am the only one in my running club with a fitbit.. everyone else has a garmin and today I'm going to buy a new forerunner too and try and bring this piece of crap back to where I bought it.

I spoke to their chat support who just had me revoke Strava access and reconnect.  I won't be able to test it until later, but I doubt that is the problem considering I cannot export the tcx file.

He said their developers are "looking into it."

My run this morning did not sync either. What is weird is yesterday it synced a walk to Strava, but it still can't find any of my runs for the last 2 days. There must be some sort of glitch in the code - from what I can tell this is a fairly widespread problem. C'mon Fitbit! Get your act together!  I've supported you fully since my first tracker, but episodes like this make me question my loyalty.
