Peloton activities won't sync with Fitbit

My peloton activities are no longer showing in my Fitbit app?  All worked on Monday 5th Aug, but not 6th or 7th Aug?

Fitbit says its a Peloton issue and won't help.  Suggest we may all need to go to another provider.  Very dissapointing.

I hope that's true.  Unfortunately I've lost faith in Fitbit and my experience with peloton support is similarly disappointing.  I do wonder why I actually pay for Fitbit premium.  Time to reconsider when it's up for renewal.  So many people moving to another platform, and I can't blame them.

My Fitbit is on it last legs and this might be the thing that pushes me to get an Apple watch.

No kidding. I'm investigating Apple watches as they mesh seamlessly with Peloton.

Yes I’ve been with Fitbit for many years but maybe moving in also if this
peloton issue isn’t resolved.

I’m thinking the same.

I think it's a fitbit problem. Not sure why we fix things that aren't broken. Users aren't part of the discussion when businesses are acquired but don't change things on them and make things worse.

I tried to sync via health connect and nothing is being recognized. Looks like a quick switch to an apple watch and iPhone will fix my problem. 😞

I’m also having this issue and am looking for a fix!! They mess things up at fit bit

I’m having this issue! I have a Fitbit 5 and I hate the issues I’m having! Fitbit refuses to take any responsibility simply ignoring the issues!! A $50 credit to buy more of the same!!! No thank you.
also if u use for bit with all the functions it cannot hold a charge! I don’t recommend anyone buy a Fitbit any more based on my experience!

I am having this issue as well.  Beginning Tuesday of last week, FitBit stopped syncing with my Peloton sessions.  I have even gone to the "Share" feature on my bike and asked Peloton to share my just-finished session with FitBit.  Peloton claims that it does that but it doesn't show up on my FitBit.  Just for the record, I am still using my legacy FitBit account.  I have not moved over to Google.  And I am on a Mac, not PC or Android.

Hello @neenbeen from fitbit's side, the only option we have is to revoke access to Peloton then through the Peloton app, reconnect. If this fails, the next step is to contact Peloton

Thanks. I’ve been on the Peloton website where there’s a notice acknowledging the problem and saying that they’re working with Fitbit to sort it out.

Hi All. I have seen that Peleton is aware of the issue and is supposedly working with Google Fitbit to resolve the issue. No fix as of yet but fingers crossed! 🤞

My peloton and Fitbit are syncing again. I went to my peloton bike, signed out of Fitbit (disconnect) and then signed back in. The next peloton exercise showed up in my Fitbit like it used to. Maybe the re-log in was needed because I migrated my Fitbit account to google? I’m not sure why it worked, but it did. So you may want to try logging out of Fitbit and relogging in to reset the apps syncing. Good luck 🤞🏻

I have to manually share my workout on peloton every time but the results
aren't the same. For example, I did a 30 minute hit ride and fitbit said I
burnt 108 calories. That isn't accurate. It's recognizing the time I've
spent but that's about it. The mileage and calories burnt are way voff. Are
you running into the same issue with how you disconnected and reconnected?

I followed the recommendation to remove the connection on my fitbit app and
then click share after a ride on peloton. Terrible recommendation btw, no
way to get it back on fitbit app so you have to manually share after every
ride. It's frustrating. It also only recognizes one workout for the day. Or
at least only shows you inaccurate data for one workout irrespective of how
many you may have done in a day.

I never got reconnected - nothing worked.

However, for something as simple as an outdoor walk, which I track on my fitbit and on my peloton phone app, the data is different.

Hi

I tried signing out of Fitbit on my peloton bike as a Fitbit member suggested and now my workouts are syncing again.  I did switch my Fitbit account over to google but that was months ago.  Everything was syncing up until 8-8.  Hopefully this will stick.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Hopefully it works for everyone.
