Please for the love of all that's holy... someone help me with syncing!
Or more specifically - double and triple logging between fitbit myfitnesspal and mapmyrun!
All are synced and A1. But when I manually log say a strength workout in mfp - and the start time is right to the minute, both same time zones - it double logs, sometimes triples in the fitbit app! Fitbit will either notice I'm active and show it as active minutes and also show the log from mfp or 2 logs from mfp. I try to delete one and they're both gone.
I'd just like a fairly accurate reading of calories in vs out over a period of time and I'll never get it like this! 😲😩😧

Welcome to the Forums @candifit!
Fitbit will not double your calorie or step count when you wear your tracker during logged activities. When you log an activity, even if you were wearing your Fitbit, the logged activity will override your Fitbit data for that period of time. For example, let's say a user's Fitbit data has 2,000 steps from 8am-10am. If the user then logs a manual activity during that same period of time, such as golfing with a cart or any other activity that is not step-based, their Fitbit data will then be negated for that period and will not show on the dashboard.
It is best to log activities that are not step based, such as cycling and yoga. You shouldn't have to log step based activities, as your Fitbit tracker can distinguish between walking and running. A more detailed discussion of activity logging can be found here. If you would like your dashboard steps to align with your tracker steps you can always delete the manually logged activity.
If you see that the discrepancy is coming from the Third Party Integration, I'd suggest contacting them directly so they can take a look into their applications and see what's going on.
Cheers!
