Running For Premature Babies Fundraiser Marathon app issue

Hey all

I'm signed up to participate in the Running For Premature Babies Fundraiser Marathon in November. You use your Fitbit or other smart watch to track your 42kms. It's meant to be super easy to sync your watch with the fundraiser however I keep getting this error.

The app you're trying to connect did not provide valid information to Fitbit. Please report this issue to them.

Developer information: invalid_request - Invalid redirect_uri parameter value

Have contacted FitBit directly and they advised me to contact the fundraiser team; they have directed me back to FitBit!
Can anyone help?

Do you experience the same issue every time you try to connect the app under discussion with the Fitbit app? In the meantime I receive your answers, please troubleshoot the Fitbit app with the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
4. Reboot your mobile device.
5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
6. Login using your account credentials.
