Hi Strava users- I've merged a few posts together. We are aware that the integration between Strava and Fitbit is currently down and hope to have this resolved shortly. I will update this thread as soon as I hear more. Thanks very much for your patience!

Hi all,
So yesterday I started using a different phone (Xaomi Redmi 4x) with Fitbit and strava.
Regular Fitbit activity syncs just fine; it recorded my cycling activities, my walk etc.
However it did not (what I'm used to) sync to Strava. I wasn't expecting this to be relevant to my device since it all goes through fitbit servers as far as I am aware.
Well since that seems to fail now I tried resetting my fitbit/strava connection.
Thus I went into the strava app, unchecked connected devices fitbit. And on the fitbit website I revoked strava access. (Can't do that on my phone).
Now I can reconnect them but fitbit responds:
https://strava.fitbit.com/auth/fitbit?code=1fb7ba8c0b7d5c6f1c9b93556a58315713463f32&state=MlBunMNIrF...
{"statusCode":500,"error":"Internal Server Error","message":"An internal server error occurred"}
This obviously being an error on the fitbit side, unfortunately no other error logging or stacktrace. What can we do to resolve this? I get the feeling this is because of an corrupt account or something. Also after this request both strava and fitbit report that the connection has been made.
My run is on fitbit but I can't get it to upload to strava as the link between the two seems to be down and I get an error message when I try to deactivate and reactivate.

Yup, looks like you have to upload your run to Strava for now.

Best AnswerSame problem here. Worked fine Saturday then done a bike ride & the info hasn’t transferred to strava. Tried deleting the link between the two but getting the same error as you when I try 😞

Best Answer{"statusCode":500,"error":"Internal Server Error","message":"An internal server error occurred"same here, been a problem all day, any news Fitbit ?
have uninstalled link as other post suggested, but now get error message as above.
Best AnswerI'm having issues too! my run from today hasn't gone over from fitbit to strava and the dashboard wont let me export it to put it up manually.
Best Answererror 500 is a server level issue at Fitbit. No amount of uninstall or re-install of apps or software on a consumer end should have any affect.
Best AnswerSame error here when trying to reconnect strava and fitbit
Best AnswerI’ve got exactly the same, I wouldn’t mind apart from it was a decent 10k run
i cant even see how to upload the file to Strava. I’m so annoyed
Are you planning on just repeatedly trying ?
Best AnswerSame problem here, from this morning no sync from fitbit to Strava.
I wrote to the Fitbit helpdesk and they said that it is a Strava problem... I hope they will fix it soon

ask Strava what they think about that. I am sure you would get the answer that it is Fitbit
Best AnswerI'm getting the same message : (
{"statusCode":500,"error":"Internal Server Error","message":"An internal server error occurred"}
The Problem seems to be resolved ?
