Swing By Swing Third Party App Integration

I am the proud owner of the soon to be phased out Pebble Time, and also a Fitbit Blaze.  Since Fitbit purchased Pebble, I think it would make sense if Fitbit would integrate all the apps that currently work with my Pebble Time.  Are there any plans to integrate the Swing by Swing app with Fitbit?  If not, why not?  It is nice to track my steps, etc AND get all the pertinent information about each hole on my favorite golf courses...like I currently get on Pebble Time.

Hello @ampli2ude, its nice to see you here in the Fitbit Community. At the moment we don't have any updates if other apps compatible with Pebble are going to be integrated with Fitbit too. Also Fitbit has acquired certain assets such as intellectual property and key personnel but did not take ownership of Pebble smart watches so is hard to take further actions on this subject.

Also most of this integrations are not developed by Fitbit, but by the third party who wants to integrate their services using our open API. To see  the latest compatible apps with Fitbit please visit: https://www.fitbit.com/partnership

For questions about other topics, see the Pebble blog.

Thank you for your question and hope to see you again.

I am curious how we can get a SwingxSwing integration to the Ionic?

Is it something Fitbit has to initiate?  Does SwingxSwing start the talks?  Who do we need to lean on to get this to happen?

I contacted Swing x swing through their app a few months ago and this was their response:

HI Tony:
It is our understanding that the fitbit runs on its on proprietary operating system that we are not able to integrate with.
Thank you for contacting us and I apologize for the inconvenience.
