I believe I have synced my inspire 2 with my Atkins app but my steps do not get tracked to the Atkins app.

If your steps are syncing to your Fitbit account but not to the Atkins app, it could be that they were not linked. You can check on your online dashboard if both accounts are connected by following the instructions on this help article.
When your Fitbit account is not syncing to another app, you can try revoking the access as instructed on the article and link them again from your Atkins app.
