Hi,
I'm keen to sync my food data from "My Food Diary (MFD)" . Currently my exercise data gets synced to MFD so there is clearly a connect between Fitbit and MFD.... I want to pull my food/ macro data to my fitbit app from MFD. I enter food data on MFD and its a pain to enter it again on fitbit.
Anyone knows what to do?

I have a related problem. When I log my food in MyFitnessPal it transfers it to Fitbit. But when I make a few changes to the logged food, it is added up in Fitbit rather than changed, such as change the type of bread used (delete one and add the other). So it happens that I suddenly had a breakfast worth off 900 calories, rather than the 260 calories that it actually was. On MFP the food is now correct, but on Fitbit it is several times higher than what actually has been consumed. Deleting the entire meal on the Fitbit app doesn't help at all, it rather makes matters worse. It seems to use the previously false data and add the meal to that amount. The synchronization worked really well up until the last update of the Fitbit app. This is sad as the combination of both apps really helped me to get into better shape.
I have tried to disconnect the Fitbit from MFP and vice versa and to connect the two again. The problem remains.

Most people who connect MFP to their Fitbit, use MFP to enter food and monitor the calories that they can consume. They use Fitbit to send the calories the body has burnt.
They don't use Fitbit for food logging.
What your seeing @KayKay-Zw is that when changes are made in MFP, MFP has no way of telling Fitbit that a change was made.

Hello @Rich_Laue ,
thank you for your answer. Maybe I can clarify this a little better.
This is how I use the two apps:
1. Add food and water to MFP
2. If needed, make changes to the food logged on MFP
3. Check the Fitbit app if the food logged in MFP has been synched
In step 3 is where the problems start. The synching works somehow. It takes the food logged in MFP, but instead of substituting one entry for the other (which a change in the log in MFP would suggest) it adds the changes to the initial entry, therefore sometimes doubling or even tripling the entries. Crossreferencing with the entries in MFP, these seem correct and therefore there must be some kind of problem with the synching between the two apps. This is rather new. I started to experience these problems from Wednesday, the 25th of March. I have been using these to apps in combination for the last 2 to 3 months and never had a similar issue.

Mfp not Fitbit is responsible for the syncing of the data.
