I've been having this problem on and off, but consistently since 28 July. Nothing comes through to Strava, and I've tried all the suggested fixes. Very, very frustrating.

Hi- thanks, that's useful. Do you think that the data that's stuck in the black hole will come through? I have tried to expert the data from FitBit manually but it's a csv file that isn't compatible with Strava - any ideas?

you should be able to export it as a .TCX file and then manually import it into strava. This is what ive been doing since it stopped working. As long as its got GPS data in the activity you have done, it will import into strava via the .TCX file upload option

I have had the Fitbit - Strava connection in place for a few years, mine stopped working 1-2 weeks ago too.

Having to download/upload TCX files manually at the moment.
Very frustrating.

Same issue for me too. Have had the fitbit - Strava link in place for a few years.

Stopped working 1-2 weeks ago, very frustrating.

Having to manually transfer TCX files currently.

I've been having the same issue as well. My last synced run was last Monday. Since then I've had to download the .tcx file and upload manually to Strava.

Hi - how did you get the tcx file out of FitBit? All I can get is a csv or excel file so I can’t seem to manually upload it to Strava. Thanks!

@RunJulieRun

When I go to the activity that I used GPS for at the top right hand corner there are 3 dots. When I click or tap on them it gives me the option to "Export TCX File". It then downloads to my device or computer. Then I upload it on the Strava website.

@SunsetRunner Hi there and thanks - I was trying from the desktop Fitbit app on my MacBook. I was able to do it from my phone and have successfully imported one run! Now for the rest since 28th July. Cheers.

Yes my Strava is not syncing from my Fitbit despite now showing it's
connected, haven't synced for a week now despite multiple disconnections etc

Hi Silvia - thanks for the message. I am still having problems but thanks to fellow users I think I am now sorted with manually exporting and importing the activities as files.

The mobile apps are not communicating with one another. I have noticed that the authorisation at the Strava end seems to disappear. The Strava App on the watch also hasn't recorded a run since 28th July, same as the Strava App on the phone and desktop. I subscribe to both FitBit Premium and Strava and I am not able to use them properly at the minute which is disappointing. Any insight into what is wrong? Thanks.

Same here. I've been logging activities with GPS with my Fitbit Versa, but it's been already a few weeks that nothing is being synced with Strava. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the apps from both sides, and also tried this link:

https://strava.fitbit.com/

Nothing helped at all, ever.

I'm completely frustrated with Fitbit support also. I don't see any response from them. BTW, it took me ONE year to get them agree that my original Versa was faulty...

Yes the issue is still there although it no longer seems to remove the device from Strava connected devices anymore, but still not automatically syncing any activities.

Thanks for the reply on this matter. Quick thought, could this be trusted to the fact that Strava just went online with their new subscription platform with fewer free features. Could the free sync feature now be gone??

I'm a premium member with both Strava and Fitbit and still can't sync as of
last week so this should not be a related issue

Hi, I took out a subscription with Strava a few months back so that’s not the case for me but am now more frustrated as I’m paying for something that at present isn’t fit for purpose 🤷‍:female_sign:
