Syncing issues with My Fitness Pal

My Fitbit app is not syncing with My Fitness Pal.. I have tried disconnecting the apps from one another, but when I try to allow MFP access to Fitbit, I keep getting an error message stating that Fitbit is having a server problem. Super frustrating.. Is there anything else I can try? Is this a problem for others and if so is it being fixed?!

Welcome to the Community @Samor86. Thanks for troubleshooting this issue by yourself. I would like to know if you keep having problems connecting your accounts? If you do, I recommend following these steps.

Re-link the two accounts by doing the following:

1. Sign into your Fitbit dashboard.
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. On the left side of your screen click "Applications."
4. Under MyFitnessPal, click "Revoke Access."
5. You can then re-link the two accounts by going to http://www.fitbit.com/apps/myfitnesspal.

After relinking, you can verify that your accounts are syncing by using one of the following data points:

1. On Fitbit you can check for your meal summary and logged activities from MFP.
2. On MyFitnessPal, go to "My Home," then "Check-In." You should see your weight, Fitbit Steps, and Fitbit Sleep Minutes.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I keep trying to re-link the accounts but every time I try to allow Fitbit access to MFP, I get the "Fitbit server error"
Thank you so much for responding to me! Is there anything else I can do? I use these apps every day and hate that they aren't communicating the past few days!

@Samor86 Are you doing it through your phone? If so, I'd suggest you try linking Fitbit to MFP using a PC.

Ok thank you I'll try that! So far I have finally got MFP to talk to Fitbit butt not vice versa so I'll try a PC

Ok I have tried everything; disconnecting, reconnecting, ensuring the proper step counter is selected, deleting both apps and re installing them and yet the problem persists.. I'm not sure which end its on but MFP has an announcement posted stating that there have been syncing issues since April and that they're working on it...
