Tracking Cycling with Fitbit

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I want to track HR and GPS for cycling. Data links to Strava and Strava lets me change activity to Cycling, but Fitbit dashboard doesn't. So all of my cycles in Fitbit look like runs and mess up my running stats.

Why can't I simply change my activities to what they actually are ?

Simple requirement, which if not fixed will make using my Fitbit dashboard a pointless exercise.

Strava can do it .... wake up Fitbit and fix this.

Hello @ishable,

Welcome to the community!

It sounds like you're both active running and cycling.  Additionally, it seems like you're interested in both HR and GPS data from both of these.  It sounds like the Surge is for you.  While I don't have 'bike' enabled, it's easily one of the activities you can set in the tracker:

I hope this helps.

@ishable Hope you are doing well! You can also log the activity manually.  There is an option for cycling on the dashboard. I will leave a picture here to show you where is it.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Very Happy
