Trouble with Fitstar

For the last two days my Fitstar workouts haventybeen syncing correctly in Fitbit. They are registering as runs instead of workouts and aren't recording the correct time and number of calories. Today I did a 30 minute workout in Fitstar and Fitbit recorded zero active minutes. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have the same problem. It is very frustrating. Starting Monday 28th, it doesn't record sessions accurately!

My boyfriend and I are having the same issue with FitBit recording our FitStar Personal Trainer sessions with inaccurate calories

Any update on this one?  Still treating all fitstar workouts as runs (yoga and fitstar)

I have the exact same problem! I did notice on 1/4/16 and has been like that since. Very annoying.

I have searched on the internet for fixes but this is really the only place I can find where people have the exact same problem as me, I tweeted FitBit customer support but am awaiting a reply, will update if I find out anything useful.

Hey guys, I'm new to both Fitbit (flex) and FitStar Yoga. I was really excited to see both apps sync, so I started a yoga session immediately. But I have the same issue you guys are describing 😕 I hope it gets fixed soon...

I've been having the same problem for about a week.  I've followed the recommendations to disconnect the apps from each other, then reconnect, but it hasn't helped.

For me, the Dashboard correctly records that I completed a workout, including time started and duration, but it doesn't capture the calorie count.

Same issue here. Incorrect calories. I logged a manual entry for the missing calories but would be good to get this fixed..

Huh...well just like that, it seems to be working properly this morning! I did a Fitstar workout and it logged the correct number of calories burned and active minutes. Glad it's working!

After the most recent app updates, I deleted the FitStar PT and FitStar Yoga apps, then reinstalled them.  After the reinsallation, FitBit is again correctly recording workouts, duration, and calories expended.

Hey all,

Our team was able to identify and resolve the issue. Your FitStar workouts should be recording properly again.

Thanks! 🙂

My FitStar/FitBit syncing was working fine until today.  Now it won't sync any FitStar workouts to my FitBit app.  I've done all the resets listed here in the forums, logging out, logging back in, deleting and reinstalling the apps, deconnecting and reconnecting the apps.  Nothing is working.  I did notice my FitBit app updated Friday night and nothing has synced properly from FitStar since.

Just started Fitstar.  Logged on via Facebook.  Am only doing the first test workout, and my phone keeps putting up a message that there's a corrupted file and I have to reload.  What's up?
