Weights workout not syncing to MFP

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Howdy,

I've noticed that my Weights exercises tracked in Fitibit have not been syncing with MFP anymore. It looks like the generic Fitbit calorie adjustment is still syncing fine. My runs and bike rides are also syncing fine to Strava, and then from Strave to MFP.

I haven't been doing Weights as frequently, so I'm not certain when exactly this started occurring, but it has been definitely going on for most of January.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums @SunsetRunner! I'll be glad to help on this. Smiley Happy

Even if your daily calories are exporting properly, I recommend in this case, to link and unlink your MFP account from Fitbit. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to your Apps page and search at the middle right of the page for the apps you currently have linked.
  2. Select Fitbit tracker
  3. Click on Disconnect
  4. Log out of Fitbit and MFP.
  5. Log back in
  6. Log into MyFitnessPal and click Apps.
  7. In the App Gallery, find Fitbit and click Connect.
  8. Click Allow to give MyFitnessPal access to your Fitbit data.
  9. Follow the instructions provided.

Also, please note that all food and water items must be logged through MFP and your steps, exercises, manual logs and other activities need to be logged through Fitbit; this will prevent any double logging or incorrectly increasing your caloric budget for the day.

Let me know if you have any questions, have a great day! Smiley Very Happy

Sooo this is the suggested solution from both fitbit and MFP. Followed the instructions. And then... still didn't fix the issue. In fact because I've been paying more attention to issues, I notcied that the days in which I use a Weights workout the overall fitbit calorie adjustment can sometimes get a bit weird and looks a bit low.

Take for example today, 2/2. I had four workouts listed in fitbit: 1:04 hour Weights, one bike ride for 1.32 miles, a second bike ride for 1.85 miles, and I even walked enough for my fitbit to automatically create a walking event (mind you, that's a pretty cool change). However MFP is only showing the two bike rides via Strava and the overall fitbit calorie adjustment. So right now I am missing Weights from 1/28, 1/29, 2/1, and 2/2, all entries done after following the instructions to delink/relink my accounts.
