Everybody knows there this integration exists and whatnot. But what FitBit has failed to do is to clearly state what it does and how to work it out.
I understand that people who have surge can use it to track their bike rides and runs and get them to sync up to strava. Easy enough.
The thing is: What does this integration feature whenit comes to Charge HR?
Sunday I got my Charge HR and discovered there was this communication between both APIs (FitBit and Strava) and I enabled it.
Today, I started a ride on my Strava mobile app and rode with my Charge HR on my forearm, and when I got back home I uploaded it to Strava.
I was hoping to get a notification from FitBit saying that I had a new activity or something, and thus opening the app and facing a new record called Bike (Strava) with my log (HR, Calories, etc). On the contrary, I got a notification for "earning" a floor climbing badge, with a grand total of 81 floors climbed.
So, not only it didn't sync up with Strava, but also I now have a load of steps and floors I don't deserve.
I am also curious on whether it is possible to track a run on my Charge HR and get it to sync up to Strava.
Please don't redirect me elsewhere, just answer me straightforward. Thanks in advance

Welcome on board @jotap28! Thank you for your question. When you link your Fitbit and Strava accounts you'll be able to share the information of your activities, rides and bikes.
If you're going to perform a biking activity you can manually log this activity on your Strava. For activities you can use your tracker and that information will be transferred to your Strava. By doing this you won't get double numbers.
Keep me posted.
