Hello @SunsetRunner, it is nice to have new faces in the Fitbit Community! Thank you for your feedback and I understand this is a feature many Charge 2 users has been requesting to have in iOS.
So far the only trackers capable to do this; is the Fitbit Ionic or the Fitbit Blaze using advanced notifications. If this is something in which you're interested too, please take a look to this Feature Suggestion: Facebook Messenger and Whatsapp Notifications on Charge 2.
