When I connect my Fitbit app to runkeeper

When I connect fitbit to runkeeper I get two identical runs in my runkeeper feed with the start time one hour apart. I have to delete one from runkeeper. But am afraid I will lose both. Is there a setting to stop this?

First thing to note Run keeper gets connected to your Fitbit account.

Are you using both Run Keeper and the Surge to record the run? If zoo then yes you will have both runs recorded.

Your choice is to use the ionic or run keeper. The data from one will also be sent to the other.

I'm only able to take a guess based on the evidence described.

It would be helpful to know what method is being used to record the exercise.

If using Runkeeper then Fitbit will still automatically record the run. And you should still get 2 recordings.
