Fitbit includes Weight from Health Connect in it's "You" tab. But it does not show up on the Today tab. A chat with Fitbit support told me yesterday that Fitbit only supported a Fitbit branded (Aria?) scale. When I mentioned that the Hume Bodypod scale I have is sending weight data to Health Connect (by Google), the support person told me I'd need to contact Hume.
I told him that the data is already in Google's Health Connect. Then the support person told me to contact Health Connect. I tried emailing the address in Health Connect's Play item but it bounced. So I send Feedback with the email's text. We'll see if that gets through.
Then today, I discovered in the Fitbit community that someone saw the Weight data being displayed in the "You" tab. Sure enough it's there under Records | Health Connect Data. Weight was logged manually so it shows the last value as being from Fitbit 11 hours ago. It shows the Fitbit icon to the right of the last update time/day. And Body fat % is from 1 day ago from the Hume app.
So, Fitbit is reading this data from Health Connect and it's visible in the You tab.
Now, my question is when will Fitbit add this to the Today tab?
If support is reading this, please update your knowledge base so that accurate answers are given to customers.
Thank you

Forgot to mention that clicking on the weight data, Fitbit then displays all the weight data that was posted by Hume to Health Connect in addition to the data I manually entered.

Example of Hume BodyPod scale data displayed in Fitbit's view of Health Connect data. Note the source indicates this data comes from Hume and not a Fitbit branded scale that Fitbit support told me they only supported.
