Hi there @larammm, good to see you around one more time. If you have an Android phone this feature is available already on your tracker. You just need to access to the Notifications settings and in Text messages choose Whatsapp.
If you have iOS, this feature is not supported and only default text messages notifications are available. So far I do not have updates available to share at the moment. If this is something in which you're interested, please visit this feature suggestion: Whatsapp Notifications for Alta. Feel free to contribute with your vote and comments. This is a great way to let our developers know what you'd like to see in the future!
See you later and hope this helps.

@RobertoME It's a very sad statement that cheaper devices like Xiaomi Fit have this for both Android and iPhone, yet, Fitbit doesn't and doesn't make it a priority. I have checked the related forum, but sadly they have no plans to implement social media notifications (Whatsapp or any others) at all. I like the device, but why should I need to move to Android to get these notifications?

Hello @raimdad, nice to have you here in the Fitbit Community, welcome aboard. I'm sorry for the late reply and thank you for your feedback regarding this topic.
At the moment the only trackers capable to received app notification in iOS platforms, is the Blaze and our newest Fitbit Ionic. If you check the feature suggestion I shared before you will see the latest update about our future plans.
I understand your point of view, nonetheless we are constantly working to provide a better Fitbit experience.
See you later.
