facebook sharing

I linked my fitbit to facebook but it never shared updates as expected, I read that you could deauthorise it and then reconnect to solve this matter.

I have tried this and now only recieve the following message:

Unable to finish authorizing with Facebook. Received Facebook error response of type OAuthException: Code was invalid or expired. (code 100, subcode null)

So frustrated with this whole fitbit thing, wish i had never bought it.

Anyone able to help please?

Something is obviously up with the Fitbit/Facebook relationship. Fitbit says they removed Facebook sharing to explore other, better ways to share, yet Twitter never disappeared.

I mean, why not leave Facebook sharing the way it was UNTIL they came up with something better?

I'm with you guys, should have let it be until something else comes along but like someone else stated, something must be screwed with their relationship. I set up the twitter one the other day and my twitter page posts out to FB anyway so I get through to FB that way but still why make the customer do a work around for what they want or offer something as ugly as the other choice they gave me.

Oh well. Keep Fit and Carry On 🙂

My zip doesn't post on my facebook account unless I'm in Miami 😕 Why doesn't it automatically post when I am home in Cali...it never has even though I signed up for it to do so...

I assume there's nothing new on this, and it's time to give up on Fitbit/FB integration returning?

It's looking that way... we can crash a remote robot onto a comet and explore a planet but can't fix this integration issue! Or is it hey, we've got your £££ $$$ so who cares?

Fitbit has integrated with Strava. Two way updating... And Strava posts to Facebook. It works great actually. I had my doubts, but it works great. Will even post walk, run, hike, cycling to Facebook with your gps map. Link your Fitbit to Strava, and everything INCLUDING cycling, posts to Facebook. 🙂

My Fitbit is linked to Strava and Strava is linked to Facebook, but it doesn't post any activity? How can I check that's working Bry?
