Fitbit does not sell data to 3rd parties. They only share identifiable info to those you have authorized such as when you connect to a 3rd party app or Facebook or Twitter. Any data that they do share beyond that does not contain any information on who the data belongs to. There is no opt out option. You can read the privacy policy here: privacy
