Versa 3 battery lasts 1.5 days

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I replaced my Versa 2 with a Versa 3 in November 2021.  My experience has been the battery lasts 1.5 days, if I am lucky.  Turned off applications, and anything that may cause the battery to die.  Still the same issue.  I also only charge it using my computer.  I am really upset that I can’t use the watch for tracking of my fitness because the battery will die.  Any suggestions?

Hi @dmd959  -  this can be because there are a lot of battery draining features and configurations, notably Snore detection and SpO2, but check the list of them How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @dmd959.

I appreciate all this information that you've shared about the inconvenience that you've been having with your Versa 3.

Before considering other options, make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this articleIn addition, please complete a restart procedure following the steps listed here, this has been useful for other users experiencing something similar:

The battery can last up to 6+ days; because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary, but the battery shouldn't be draining only after one or two days. Keep in mind that some of the feature that can drain the battery more rapidly are:

  • Built-in GPS (Versa 3 can have a battery life of up to 12 hours when using this GPS regularly).
  • Always-on display (Versa 3 can have a battery life of up to 2 days when using this feature).
  • Using an Sp02 clock face (Fitbit points out in this article that you may have to charge your Fitbit device more often when collecting SpO2 data).

Hope this helps, I'll be around.
