Calories Burned

I have literally just gone from a Versa 3 to a Versa 4 and my calories burned each day is around 500 less than the Versa 3. I was losing weight slowly and all recordings were on point yet the Versa 4 is drastically lower every day. Is this a known issue?

Hi @Mikydee - it may be a set-up issue, check in the device/account page on the Fitbit App that your phone is not also connected to your account and in App Settings that you are using the same Calories as units as before.

As calories burnt is based on HR check your watch is registering the similar values as before on your previous watch.

When you do a manual sync of the watch with the app check again what it shows in case there is a syncing issue.

It may also help to hold the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for the logo to appear and for it to start, to get a refresh of the watch state.

Hi Guy.

Thanks for this great info.

Everything checked and it's it was except for my resting HR which is showing slightly higher than before, other than that it all looks good.

As an example, I walked a route on holiday, lots of inclines, 32000 steps.....my calories burned for the whole day was 3500.....a normal good day for me with 24000 steps normally averages well above 4000 cals burned.....it does seem a bit odd.

Thanks.
