Can answer calls on Versa 4, but I can't hear anything

I’ve been trying to set up the ability to receive calls on the versa4.

i could hear myself talking to my wife’s phone - but could not hear anything from my Fitbit.

i can press the green answer button but at that point nothing happens - although the last couple times a few seconds later I get a bell like picture…I’ve tried to press that to get to the volume button but that didn’t seem to work either - do I need to factory reset?

I'm sorry to hear that the on-wrist calls on your Versa 4 are not working properly. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!

If you haven't done so yet, please check the following requirements:

• Make sure you're using the latest version of the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I use the Fitbit app?
• Make sure your Fitbit device is up-to-date. For more information, see How do I update my Fitbit device?
• Keep the phone nearby with the Fitbit app running in the background. The phone should be within 30 feet (10 meters) of your watch.
• Call notifications must be turned on. For more information, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

If you continue having issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. On the phone, turn Bluetooth off and back on.
2. Restart the Fitbit device once gain. For instructions, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
3. Remove Versa 4 Controls from the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone.
4. Set up on-wrist calls again. For instructions, see How do I set up on-wrist calls on my Fitbit device?

Note that Versa 4 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. This feature requires more frequent charging.

On a side note, please note that if you're trying to connect any headphones while using on-wrist calls, specially Airpods, at this time Fitbit smartwatches can't control the volume on Apple Airpods.

So

• fitbit app is upto date
• firbit Versa 4 is upto date
• call notifications are turned on

i have

• turned Bluetooth off and on, on iphone
• restarted iphone
• restarted Versa 4

at this point initially I did get a Versa 4 ****** appear in my Bluetooth list can’t remember exactly it was but suspect it was controls - but this has since disappeared - there is however an ‘Accessory’  in my other devices.

but Versa 4 calls is not there and doesn’t appear now even if I reboot phone turn Bluetooth off and on or turn Versa 4 off and on.

But Versa and iPhone on charge. Re looked at Bluetooth and there was the Versa 4 calls so clicked and hopefully sorted now.
