Can't set goal on Treadmill Exercise

When I select the treadmill exercise and try to set a goal, it doesn't respond and 2-3 seconds later the exercise starts. Am I doing something wrong or is there a glitch? I am able to set a goal in weights mode.

Start exercise from the Exercise app (from apps list) not from shotcuts tile. If you start from tile, it does start automatically without waiting.

Thank you. I just accessed the exercise tile from the Exercise app and no issue. I appreciate your help!
