Hi
I have the versa 4 and am trying for it to connect to my s22 for taking calls on my versa 4, I have the updated software and updated firmware on the versa but whenever I set it up and is showing setup correctly whenever I test it and try and receive a call on my versa it seems to keep dropping the bluetooth connection and won't connect .
Any help please as have done everything I can find to try 🙏

Hi there, @Jackiemac69. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 4 before reaching out.
To better assist you, please confirm that you've tried all steps provided in this help article Why are notifications delayed or missing?
Note that the Versa 4 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. This feature requires more frequent charging. For more information, see How do I take-on wrist phone calls with my Fitbit smartwatch?
Hope this helps.

@Jackiemac69 Thanks for those details.
As I've mentioned above, the Versa 4 Controls might be listed as “Not Connected” in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone. When you receive a phone call, the controls automatically reconnect. Click here for more information.

Hi
The versa is paired with my s22 and when I make calls it shows on the versa that there is a call to answer but when I try to answer it, it always says connecting then nothing it don't connect it just says connection error .
Iv set it up on my s21 my partner has and it works fine . Very frustrating. And yes before I tried setting it up again on my s22 iv deleted it from the s21
Seems to be a s22 problem

I was having problems answering the phone and voice replying to text. Later to discover it was b/c my permissions were not set up properly on the app within my phone. Once I Allowed permissions, everything works.
Hope that may help.

All permissions sre set up , on wrist calls is set up . Bluetooth is showing paired up.text messages show on the versa, just can't except calls to versa , call comes through and when press green to answer call it just hangs in the connecting and then says can't connect there was an issue.
My next step I think is to return it

Darn, I was hoping that would help. I've had more issues with the 4 than any other. Wish I would of bought the 2 again !!! Never had an issue.
I can't change my clock face b/c it keeps telling me I have no internet connection which clearly I do. I turned of wifi, logged out and and back in , deleted app and re-installed. Nothing !! Very aggravating.
Gluck to you

I have the same issue. Fitbit have escalated my service request to an email response with an indeterminate timescale .. My Versa 4 successfully connected two or three times. Now it won''t. I'll also be returning my watch after trouble shooting factory reset etc etc.
I'm having the same problem with S22 and Versa 4. It worked once but now it doesn't.

Hi Jackie.
Sadly I'm having the exact same issue as you. I have an S22 and have had no luck connecting to Versa 4 calls. Very frustrating!
I would be interested to hear what the resolution or next step is.

I've just read through this entire thread and am having the same issue. the person on the other end of the chat was also not very kind today and did not fully read my responses and just kept throwing out the automated responses. This is very frustrating. It appears from this thread that with the S22 people are having issues. I guess when I hopefully get the escalated email, that they will allow me to return this watch because it's not doing what it is supposed to.

It's not just the s22. I'm having the same problem and I have a Motorola ace one 5g. The call answering feature worked several times for me and then quit. Just like everyone else i get the cannot connect error. I've tried several troubleshooting methods i found on Fitbit help page to no avail. This is absolutely a build/product flaw.

Fitbit needs to admit there is a problem with versa 4 taking phone calls. I have done EVERYTHING 2x and at best it works for 45 seconds.
It does not work consistently, I find it very hard to believe that you people don't know this!
I have an s21 and it's intermittent.
This doesn't solve anything. I would like to hear from one user on answering calls on the versa 4 where it works consistently day in and day out.

Did you ever get a resolution to this issue? My partner just got a Versa 4 and like you can't get it to answer on wrist calls. She has an s22 like you.

I have the Samsung Flip and same exact thing. FITBIT needs to do a better job or they stand to lose customers.

Let's face it. Fitbit crapped on it's customers. And they aren't even trying to dress it up. "Here's a crap sandwich, and you'll like it, because it's what we are giving you!"
I have an s10 note+ and the same issues. I bought the watch without doing research, so that's on me. But, it's Fitbit. I was expecting better, and then the watch *I* chose to buy...? Turned out to be a pig. TONS of features in the Versa 3, that disappeared. No explanation as to why. "We chose to".
Great. I am choosing to never, ever buy a Fitbit product ever again, in all the rest of my life.

My fitbit 4 is almost an year old. I have the same issues. I'm not new to fitbit. This my 5th one and won't be a 6th one. All my fitbits starts off good then have the same issues eventually. It worked on the my S10 and happened a few times. Upgraded to an S23. It stopped 2 weeks ago. I have tried everything from deleting to adding back. No more texts and no more calls coming in from watch. What is the point? 150
00 watch that always only works half the time. The only reason I use fitbits because it's convenient with charging times but inconvenient with doing what it's supposed to do. Fitbit knows. They see these comments. Well see me leave fitbit and never return. My husband's had the Samsung watch the whole time I've had 5. Something is wrong with that. I'd rather charge a Samsung every 2 days then continue to put up with this. The same comments are here every year. If not this workout calorie issues, or syncing. I'm tired of it. Good luck
