Can't set up google wallet

I've previously had a versa 2, which was great, until it stopped recording heartbeat and sleep. This couldn't be fixed so I was offered a discount on a new watch, which I took. I got the Versa 4 last week. So far, not so good... 

The alarm initially worked sporadically or not at all, but after a factory reset, now seems to be working, albeit the touch screen is rubbish so I often need to push the snooze button repeatedly to get it to snooze (which is not what you want when you're snoozing), also, minor annoyance but why did they move the buttons? On the versa 2, snooze is at the top of the screen and off is the bottom and different colours so it's not easy to get them confused, on the 4, they're next to each other and the same colour!

Anyway, that aside... I tried to set up google wallet (previously had fitbit pay which was easy) but having logged in, added my card (mastercard) and gotten a text from my credit card to say it was successfully added, it came up with an error - it says 'Google - 400. That's an error. The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That's all we know'

I've tried signing out and back in again, deleting the app and starting again and factory resetting my watch but still just get this same error. Tried the support chat but they couldn't help and said someone will come back to me. While I wait, anyone had anything similar?

Sounds like your bank is not sending the proper command to Google. 

Is your bank card listed here

No, I didn’t know there was a specific list, problem now is that I can’t choose a different card as it’s stuck in this error system…… 😔. It all worked fine with Fitbit pay on my versa 2

Actually, I was looking at the US list, now I look at the UK list my bank is there

Google wallet is working now! I can only assume the support team must have done something in the background as I got an email from my credit card company saying it was set up.
