Cardio Load requires 7 days continual wear?

So I just saw on my app that cardio load requires you to wear the watch continuously for 7 days and nights... how is this possible when I get "low battery" notifications every 4 - 5 days and need to take it off to charge?

Hello there @Lynz1960, welcome to the Fitbit family.

You're right, that sounds a bit tricky!

Cardio Load needs 7 days of wear data, but it doesn't mean you have to wear it 24/7. You can take it off for things like showers or daily needs, and it should still track your Cardio Load.

It sounds like your battery life might be shorter than expected. You can try changing some settings to make it last longer, like turning the Always on Display off or considering the GPS usage. Please check this article to see some tips to improve the battery life.

Thank you for your reply about my battery life,  AOD has always been off and I can't find the GPS settings on my watch (it's been a busy week and I've not had time to Google it yet)

Thank you for letting me know that I don't need to wear it 24/7 for the cardio load feature to work.

Charging it every several days doesn't make it go away. I wish it would!

But you've given me an idea -- I'll test what happens if I leave my Fitbit off one day per week, in case this keeps Cardio Load from giving me its un-asked-for 2 cents every day when I open the app. (I have it set to Maintain AND have turned the Cardio Load option off, but it still harps at me if I dare have a day that looks to it like I'm not "training" as I should. I'm 71 years old, and my cardio stamina is excellent for my age group, it tells me. So good grief, Fitbit.

Fitbit tells me, that is...not Cardio Load
