Counting swimming lengths on versa 4

I bought my versa 4 a couple of years ago, specifically because it could track the number of lengths I swim. 

I hadn't been swimming for a little while and during that time there was an upgrade. When I went swimming last week I realised the app no longer tracks my lengths. 

I'm not very happy that an "upgrade" has removed the feature that was my reason for buying this model.

Will the feature be coming back? Or am I going to have to look for another watch which does track lengths. If I did it wouldn't be a Fitbit as removing features is a terrible way to treat customers.
