Used fitbit Ionic without issue for about 4 years. During which time I did dozens of same route runs which gave pretty consistent results. Just updated to Versa 4 last week and done 3 of my regular run routes. However Versa 4 is now giving different distances and completely incomparable pace figures. Completely inconsistent and now hard to benchmark my runs. Wish I hadn't changed! Anyone else similar?

Fitbit running metrics are full of inconsistencies as if Fitbit wasn't quite sure how to calculate them. For me, on Sense 2 the pace jumps all over the place and locking onto a steady pace is impossible. Not an issue as it's not my main training watch (Fitbit isn't a runner's watch) but it is annoying anyway.

I had the same on the versa 3 . Moved over to another brand much happier plus allot of the features like coach and groups are now paid. Really no choice I like accurate metrics. I suspect it's the GPS which keeps dropping
