Disappointed with Versa 4

I had a Fitbit 5 and replaced it with a Versa 4 thinking it was an upgrade since it is a more expensive watch. VERY DISAPPOINTED that after numerous attempts to install Spotify to control it from my watch I was advised by customer support it is not supported. Would I have known this before, I would have definitely shop for other brands, now I’m stuck with this watch.

Hi @JC787 - did you know if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

Im a new fitbit user I have never had any other versions of Fitbit I have versa 4 when i use to be able to receive calls but now that feature doesn't work the pairing constantly disconnects

I am also super disappointed with versa 4. It does not support leaderboard or find my phone. I felt I was forced to link my phone to Google and now my stats don't track accurately instead of doing the week  I can compare on leader board. It does the last 7 days all the time. I would have kept my Versa 2. But it died after the monumental upgrade that killed most of the Versa 2s. I have been with Fitbit since 2019. And I would definitely not recommend this product.

Based on your post date, you seemed to have bought yours around the same time I bought mine. I have been a loyal fitbit user for years and across many models. I just upgraded my Versa 2 to Versa 4 and am shocked that notifications don't just appear on the watch screen. How is it convenient to force us to press the button to see how important a notification is? Assuming you bought recently, and from an authorized dealer, you should be able to return it. I am actually returning mine b/c of the lack of notification convenience. Very disappointed.

You have to press the button only if you have it set to keep the screen off 'till you press. You can also set it so that rotating your wrist turns it on and then you can catch the notification (or swipe of to see it). There are definitely advantages to the older Versa and Sense models though. It is too bad that so much function was taken away. I am still happy with my Versa 4 though.

My versa 4 disconnects (Versa 4 Calls) Bluetooth as well. I read in the help pages that it does it to save battery life, but it should connect when a call comes in. For me it does, and it works great when working out at the gym. I put phone in locker and can receive a call or read a text while working out.
