Does Fitbit support Android 7?

My wife got me a Versa 4 for Christmas.  My phone is android 7

1.1 which is the latest version for this model. Is there any app that would be compatible with this device? I am not ready to buy a new phone just to make this work.

Hello @davweaver and welcome to the Community.  I’m sorry, but your phone must support Android 8, minimum.  There’s no way around it.

The minimum is Android 8 for the Fitbit app to work.
