Versa 4 - Reboot loop and Red Cross

As per previous threads, has anyone had this resolved? My Versa 4 is now completely dead and I can’t see that anyone has had this issue resolved.

Ive seen comments about a code or 35% discount voucher, how do I get this?

my watch is just over a year old, so how do I know I won’t have the same problem if I buy another one?

Currently having the same issue. It started doing this a few days ago, and would restart after connecting to the charger, but seems to be shutting down and not restarting sooner each time.

Let me help you with the reboot loop and red cross you are seeing on your Versa 4.

If you guys see a red cross after the logo, the issue might be related to a firmware the didn't successfully finish. 

In order to resolve this, please follow the instructions below:

  • Sync your device. From the Today tab, tap the devices icon > Versa 4 > Sync Now.
  • If Sync Now doesn’t show an update banner, tap the devices icon > Versa 4 > Gallery. The app should show a pop up to install the missing apps and recover the device.
  • Then restart your Versa 4. Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.

Regarding the discount you are referring, this is an appeasement for customers who have contacted support and they are out of warranty. Please try what I have suggested and don-t hesitate to reply so we can see what else can be done.

Hi, I have the exact same problem, my Versa 4 started rebooting by itself and won't stay on for more than a few seconds at a time. Tried following these instructions but I don't get the bit about "Gallery" - my app doesn't have that. I tried restarting maaaaany times, including the hard reset I've seen proposed in other posts, and a couple of times I've seen the inverted logo but it will just flash a few times, then there is a red cross and the tracker tries to restart again.

Tried all of the steps. Now the watch only vibrates and there is no logo displayed any more during the restart. The mobile app does show it sync and the data changes. Unfortunately, the watch is a black face.

Unfortunately my device not connected over mobile app. In that case is they any way to complete factory reset...

My today face would show for a couple of minutes but after it went to sleep it would not wake up. I Googled and one solution was a factory reset and now it does not show the today face at all. It flashes the logo 7 times then red X. Shows logo one more time and then black face. My app shows it as not connected anymore. Can I send it in to get fixed? It is only 1.5 years old. I loved it when it worked but not sure if I want to risk the money on another one.
