Hello. I have multiple credit cards issued by prominent US banks. When I purchased Versa 4, I was hoping to add all these cards to my Versa 4 Google Wallet and stop carrying them in my physical wallet. I was able to do that with most (but not all) of my cards through calendar 2023, then Fitbit stopped supporting a number of these cards in 2024 and they no longer work on my Versa 4
(To be clear, the cards work on my phone's Google Wallet / Google Pay app... they just no longer work on Versa 4!)
Could someone explain why? Does Google/Fitbit charge banks a fee to include them on Fitbit devices or visa versa? Why is my Fitbit Versa becoming less functional over time, when all other electronic devices usually add supported features as time passes?

@InfiniteSleep Google Wallet for Fitbit is different from Google Pay on your phone. Individual banks make a decision to participate. It does cost a bank to participate in Google Wallet for Fitbit. The bank must maintain the system that creates your virtual credit card number. Google Wallet Bank List
