Fitbit App Help & Support

Friday, January 19, 2023 is the date this occurred. 
My Fitbit watch was showing the wrong date and time after I synced it I opened my Fitbit app And went to the Settings feature under help and support I used the call selection. So you can place a phone call to customer support using the Fitbit app I was asked for my email address and then I was told to hold the left button for 15 seconds and then turn it back on during this time I was asked for my phone number and then I was asked to verify it I told the customer service rep that fixed my issue and I was ready to disconnect the call. He told me that we needed to hang up and he would call me back when I asked why he said that we need to reset my cell phone and I told him that I don’t mind  Closing the app and reopen it or deleting the app and re-uploading it but that I did not need to receive a phone call back from him. I wanted to keep everything through the official Fitbit app. His username showed Christian, but he said his name was Logan, which was also strange. I said, I didn’t feel comfortable with this and disconnected the call. I closed out of the Fitbit app then I got back into the Fitbit app went to settings, help and support and used the chat feature. I asked how do I make a formal complaint with Fitbit I explain the situation And was not provided an answer. The customer support told me that they can help me with my issue after I said that it had already been fixed with turning the watch off and then on again. 
I’ve seen several posts about people using Fitbit websites to contact customer service, but this was legit through the Fitbit app that occurred to me today. if anyone knows how I can formally make a complaint with Fitbit, please leave that in a reply below from what I see the only way that I can contact Fitbit is via chat, feature, phone call and community tab. I sure hope that the customer support that Fitbit is employing is not using Information from Fitbit users for ill intent.

I'm not sure what there is to complain about. Sounds like support help get your issue resolved. 

I do know that a lot of help personal work from home. How they connect to fitbits phone system, I'm not sure. 

Leaving a one paragraph post of 350+ words, is not easy to follow.

Your comment is not helpful and you didn't bother to read all that I wrote. If you did then you would see where the problem lies. YES, the issue was solved with my Fitbit date/time displaying wrong. The issue is that there is a potential scam using the Fitbit help / contact us feature as titled in this community post. Simple reading! Alot of words and nope I didn't write a sentence then follow that by two lines of spacing. Sorry, my writing isn't accustomed to your made up template. Fitbit should NOT be asking to call me back and they should NOT be asking to 'reset' my cellphone. Fitbit is outsourcing its help desk to India.

Your concerns are very important for us. 

Regarding the offer to call you back, our team offers this, in case the call gets disconnected or it's necessary to restart the phone (off/on) . This is for you to get a better and faster assistance, and for your call not to get back to the waiting line. 
Maybe the wording (reset your phone) might not have been the best one chosen, but I'm quite sure that our team member wanted you to turn it off/on again as part of the troubleshooting.

I can assure you that contacting Support via the app or our official links is safe.
