I've had a Versa 4 for three weeks now, and have found to GPS to be totally inaccurate and unpredictable.
I start a run manually, wait for the GPS to connect and begin my run. I've run with and without my phone and it's the same issue. For every actual 1 mile I run, it records it as being approximately 1.10 miles and higher. I ran my usual 4 mile route today and it recorded it as being 4.6 miles, which is a huge difference and inflates my pace by a lot.
I've recorded a run with the watch and also with strava on my phone side by side. I started them at the same time and at times the watch time and distance would be all over the place compared to the strava recording. So i don't know if it's just an inaccurate GPS but also an inaccurate time keeper.
Has anyone experienced these issues and have any solutions? It seems like this is a common issue and perhaps not a faulty watch. After the run today I've pretty much given up on it and will seek an alternative and contact fitbit.
Thank you for any advice
